Seymour Shawlette is Released!

Seymour Shawlette is designed with three triangles made of solid stripes of stockinette stitch 
interrupted by a lace stripe that evokes tiny forget-me-nots and crowns, 
flowing into overlapping ovals and hearts at the bottom edges.

The shawlette is knit from the top neck down to the bottom edges.
It is a three-quarter square shape, 

and is comprised of three triangular sections that are worked identically
 
Seymour Shawlette is a perfect project for 1 skein of hand-dyed lace-weight yarn, 
and a lovely light-weight accessory for summer or any time.

Finished Measurements:  each of the 3 sides measures 18” deep x 30” wide at bottom edges

Gauge (Blocked):
18 sts and 24 rows= 4 inches in stockinette stitch using US #7/4.5mm needle.

Cleves Shawl is Released

Cleves
This triangular shawl is designed with a field of flowers encased in diamonds, exploding into free flowing leaves and flowers at the bottom border.  Artyarns Rhapsody Silk Glitter is used for the body with coordinating Artyarns Beaded Silk Light giving extra drape at the bottom edge

Finished Measurements:   30 ”x  64”
Materials:
1 80g 365m/400yd skein Artyarns  Silk Rhapsody Glitter Light (50%Silk 50% Kid Mohair - color H22 gold)
1 50g 146m/160yd skein Artyarns Beaded Silk Light (100%Silk – color H22 gold)
US 8 32” circular needles
US 9 needles for bind off (or bind off loosely with working needles)
4 Stitch Markers
Blocking wires and pins
Tapestry needle

Gauge - 1 repeat of rows 9-14 of chart A = approx. 2 inches (blocked)

B. Bed size: In NJ – a spring-laden twin bed from the 1970s – it’s amazing I’m alive.  In PA – memory foam full bed to share with honey. We call it the “brick”.

C. Chore you hate:  Everything I don’t want to do is a chore.

D. Dogs:  Not into cleaning up things – see C. 

E. Essential start to your day:  Oatmeal, meds, 6 hours or so of coffee, black.

F. Favorite color: Gray, Army Green, Purple, Silver, Black, Peacock Blue,      Fuschia…don’t have just one, maybe Purple is most dominant loooove.

G. Gold or silver: Silver, like gunmetal more, though.

H. Height: 5’2 1/4”

I. Instruments you play:  Piano when I was young. Taught myself guitar in ’94. Recorded a cute badass demo on computer. Started spokes with honey, made a demo with the computer technology of the early 21st century. Have tens of fans, worldwide.

J. Job title: Delicate Snowflake.

L. Live:  Weekdays, mostly in a 10’ x 13’ yarn cave in NJ. Hang out with my honey in his studio in PA on most weekends.
